In 2023, when my son John was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, I was faced with a new reality— clean, healthy options for treating low blood sugar were virtually nonexistent. With my son’s shared belief in optimal health and wellness, we were driven by our desire for something better. Out of this need, Vast Nutrition was born.

I am first and foremost a student. A student of business, psychology, art, and philosophy to name a few of my interests. But as I am all of these things, I am also a student of my own body. To study one’s own unique characteristics and needs is to unlock a deeper understanding of personal wellness.
For myself as a type one diabetic, this looks something like utilizing interoception and understanding the physiological needs of my body as they flow and change, adjusting insulin dosages as I grow through seasons of my life, and meeting my body where it is at in the current moment. My wellness journey is unique to my experience, as is yours and your neighbor’s.
Our bodies exist as multifaceted and ever-changing. My mother and I believe wellness should be adaptive, convenient, and buildable, unique to every individual need. Our mission is to bring solutions to the table that are not only nourishing and whole, but that ease the mind in the process. We are so excited to bring you along on this journey, and I am ready to grow with this space as I grow into adulthood and beyond.
